A drum roll can be heard in the distance.
Soon the robots leave the stage, in come the clowns.
But its the poet who attracts the throngs
Now he dances without any strings attached.
This ain't no puppet show, folks
Its The Poet asking the crowd to leave the strings behind.
Its the props wanting to be in the spotlight
But The Poet wins the debate.
Naked, outstanding in the rain
He didn't need those clothes anyway.
