The Week Ahead for You!

ARIES
(Mar 21 - Apr 20)
Your Week Ahead: You go out with friend. You turn around. Suddenly, you've lost them. You go off looking. Meanwhile, they come back. But you are no longer there. So they go off looking for you again. You return. Your friend is still not there! So off you go again, just before they come back. Etc. Right now, you are looking for something. It, in its own way, is looking for you. It knows, more or less, where to find you. You think you know where to find it. But you don't have all the facts. You're looking in the wrong place and, in doing so, you're making it harder to be found! Stay still and calm. Give life a chance, this week, to naturally bring you what you need.

TAURUS

Your Week Ahead: 'Follow your instincts.' People love to give advice like this. They urge each other to listen to the 'still, small voice inside'. This would be easy if there were only one voice to listen to. The task is harder when you appear to have an entire choir singing different messages from various parts of your psyche. It is not even as if they are singing in harmony. One part of you now is pushing you to move in a particular direction. Another clearly wants you to do the opposite. You cannot use your intellect alone to decide what to do, for you have to follow your heart now. But you can at least use your brain to work out which part of your heart to follow!

GEMINI
(May 22 - June 22)
Your Week Ahead: There may be moments this week when you feel you are dreaming. The story of your life is beginning to resemble the plot of a surrealistic novel. Everything is getting wonderfully bizarre. You keep wondering whether you have missed some vital piece of information. Do others know something you don't? It is easy, this week, to feel confused and under pressure. But while it may be easy, it is not at all necessary. Behind the madness, there's a method. Beneath all that seems so random, there's serendipity at work. Don't let something silly upset you. Relax and everything will start to make sense... eventually!

CANCER

Your Week Ahead: What's so great about the old routine? Do you really want to be stuck in it forever? Don't you secretly yearn to explore fresh pastures and taste new delights? Ha! Of course you do. And not so secretly, either. Usually, we stop ourselves from being too adventurous by looking at the possible scary consequences. We don't want to jeopardise our security - or put at risk something that we have taken a long time to create. But sometimes, that's just an excuse for being wimpish! Mars remains in your zodiac sign. As it now starts to retrace its steps through the sky, you have an exceptionally good opportunity to make a break with the past.

Your Week Ahead: You have every reason to be optimistic. It's just that there are currently some rather aggravating, exasperating factors. Get into them and they'll get into you. Ignore them and they'll go away. You really don't need to resent - or regret anything. Someone is proving difficult to get along with. Something is making you feel insecure. Somewhere in your world there's an unresolved issue that urgently requires a solution. But this is all nothing more than a brief storm amid a period of prolonged sunshine. Take cover where you can, by taking lightly some of your big concerns. Even if you get caught in the emotional rain, you'll soon dry out again.

Your Week Ahead: Shall we go hunting for buried treasure? I have a map here. It tells me that Mercury is harmoniously aligned to Uranus. That translates to, 'X marks the spot'. You are in the right location but you may not be looking in the right place. Or perhaps you are trying to dig when you ought to be looking in the palm tree above your head. Maybe the item of such value is not a chest of doubloons but a storehouse of golden memories. Or perhaps, it is a jewel of an idea. And somewhere in your life, there's a very rough diamond. A person who is difficult to get along with but whose contribution is valuable. This week brings you blessings you can count and people you can count on.

LIBRA

Your Week Ahead: Some people think the way to win an argument is to use as many long words as possible. If your opponents can't understand you, how can they disagree? Others figure the trick is to shout. Surely, they think, the person with the loudest voice will get the last word. You, though, appreciate subtlety. You understand how quality counts more than quantity. You also know how one carefully chosen word, uttered at the right moment, in the right tone, can be worth seventy soliloquies. There is no need for a great debate now. It is merely a matter of picking your moment and being sensitive enough to listen as much as you speak.

Your Week Ahead: Are you being reasonable? Are you being fair? Tell you what... let's make a pact. When either of us ever discovers the true meaning of those words, let's inform the other. Your supporters are biased in your favour. Your opponents are prejudiced against you. You can, though, be forgiven for erring on the side of the folk who make you feel better. At least that way, you are being fair to yourself! It's going to be a good week.

Your Week Ahead: Have you ever got into the car and started to drive, only to realise that you have inadvertently left the parking brake on? For a while, you can't work out why your vehicle is so sluggish. Then suddenly, it becomes obvious. Sometimes, we make a similar error with the vehicle of our life. We begin to wonder why we just don't seem to be getting anywhere and we feel frustrated because progress is so slow and sluggish. Then it dawns on us. We are holding ourselves back. We are letting ourselves be weighed down by irrelevant fears. There will be a Full Moon in your opposite sign at the end of the week, that will help you pick up a lot more speed.

CAPRICORN

Your Week Ahead: Who can you talk to? And what can you say? How much can you hope to be understood? How many complications can you anticipate? No communication process is ever perfect. People, even with the best will in the world - and the greatest desire to co-operate - often fail to see eye to eye. But that's no reason to withhold trust or pursue a policy of isolationism. Share as much as you dare. You may yet be pleasantly surprised by the extent to which your point of view is recognised, acknowledged and honoured - especially if you can now do your best to listen without prejudice and to speak without antagonism.

AQUARIUS

Your Week Ahead: Some people believe that nothing will ever change for the better, unless we somehow force it to. They urge us to avoid letting the grass grow under our feet. Others insist that the less we do, the wiser we are. They subscribe to a policy of passivity. Your Week Ahead: Walt Disney's heroes and heroines are loveable. His baddies are always dark and despicable. We can always tell who is who. Nor is there any doubt about what's going to happen at the end. That's why people like those films - and why they like Westerns and Operas - and extreme political parties, too. No shades of grey. Project what you like on to the cinema screen of your life this week, but remember please, that in reality, rights and wrongs are not so easily distinguished. Be slow to reach judgement while Mercury is approaching a right-angle to Neptune. You may yet find that your opinions alter as you find out more.
