You Are So Beautiful WILD DOVE

SPRING, WA DO! These aren't yours are they? You say you have a mastif. How many duifferent mastiff types are there? Send some more pics of your doggy's favorites...... I play the piano for the seniors every 2nd friday night at the residence where I live. Its become a very popular spot for people to come, have a cocktail or two (I encourage the seniors (on the average here-80 years old) to have a drink, pretend you are in your thirties and forties with your honey listenin to your favorites.

LittleBear goes with me, and sits by the baby grand, sometimes going around to the different tables (lookin for treats, probably----makes my tip jar full, too!!!). When I play Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are, He stops what he's doing, gets in front of the piano, rolls over as though he is in heaven. He does this with only onee other song in my repertoire, "Havah Nigilah" He's my little "jewish date bait......" :coffee3:

I am not your typical "Sensitive New Age Guy"(SNAG) and definitely not your "Sensitive New Age Chick" (SNAC) but I cry when Joe Cocker sings that song. The tears just start and don't stop.....hmm....wonder why I find so much beauty every where I go. Must be in my jeans....*S*......

SO ARE YOU, SPRING! I am almost ready to put some of my images/music/poems podcast up so I can copy it to twohawksnest. My first on is devoted to my honey, and the second one will be to you, the third on to my "internet family-you guys".....Here is a pic of my apartment altar, I light candles here for each of you now and then. The indian maiden in the background broke, but her spirit is still there......

Wild Dove I can't wait to see your images. That is an interesting alter you have. Of course the scarf caught my eye immediately. HA HA. I so appreciate beauty! It is absolutely gorgeous.

The dogs in the video are not mine, but they are the same breed as Cayenne. French Mastiffs. I love them. They are so funny. I thought of you when I heard that song on the video with those funny faced dogues. It took somebody with a sense of humor to put that song to those dogs, even though I think they are beautiful!

The Mastiffs are of the Molosser Breeds and there are several different theories on which dogs actually belong to this group. I don't go by the AKC at all. Cayenne's breed is not even recognized by the AKC, but widely recognized in Europe. There are several breeds of Mastiffs recognized today.

Cayenne, as you know is the French Mastiff, sort of a mid size in the Mastiff group. I used to have English Mastiffs. They get quite heavy. Mine were over 200 lbs fully grown and sweet as the day is long. Big Babies. I took them everywhere with me. If I go on vacation my doggies go too! I am neurotic like that, but everybody that knows me well, knows to expect my dogs if I have to go somewhere.

Molossers are one of the oldest breeds ever written of, but the true Mastiff will have the same phenotype and genotype as historical definitions. They are one of the few breeds written about in legend as well as reality. They have been traced to very early Mesopotamia.

Wild Dove I love the image I get when I picture you and Little Bear at the piano, and I can just hear "I Love You Just The Way You Are."

I have to tell you a funny story of ol Joe Cocker. I had waited for eons to see him in concert. Just love him! Well it finally happened! It was in an old warehouse in New Orleans. The excitement was almost more than I could bear, just waiting for him to come on stage. When he did I was in heaven. That is until he started to sing his first song, bent over vomited on stage, fell down, and they carried him off! THAT WAS IT! No more Joe Cocker. No concert, nothing! That is what I think of every single time his name is mentioned. He lost his allure with me right then and there!

Oh my! Drunk, probably. Tammy Wynette came to Portland to do a concert in Lincoln City (down at the coast casino) but stumbled down the steps of plane, absolutely drunk and that was the end of that....but since I didn't actually see Cocker drunk, I'll still love that voice (I'm a Tom Waites fan, too, having been to a lot of the places in his songs).

I seem to dance between meditational, sad, soft romantic and then rough, down and dirty blues....I wonder why?

YOU ARE TOO MUCH!!!!How did you know I was going to play the piano today? In about an hour I get on the bus with LB to go to a senior assisted living place to entertain the old folk....they just love Bear, particularly when I'm playing......I'll find a piano pic of me and LB and post it.....he's much more photogenic than I am. My face is always pasty white (can't take the sun anymore without 50spf.......

Wild Dove I have been very attuned lately to the vibrations of similar souls.

I would love to see the picture of you and LB. We don't care if you are pasty white. It only shows the elusiveness of your place in time. Sort of an ethereal quality that you possess.

My dear Wild Dove you are beautiful! I can see I was correct. You do have the soul of a lover! I love the red tie and the flower! You must bring joy to all the seniors there. I am sure they await your haunting melodies to bring beauty into their lives. We would love to hear you play if you can ever upload some of your music.

And my dear Little Bear. What a wonderful soul he is! He is actually smiling in that picture. You can see how proud he is of his Father!

Hint: you need a bigger Tip Jar. LOL When the small ones start to get full it gives the impression that you don't need any more tips. This is very true. The bigger they are the more people will try to fill them. Do you need a bigger Brandy Snifter? Let me know.

For the moment, it appears that the only way for me to get my music here, is to create the youTube embed slideshow/movie. This takes a lot of time (unless I just want to do a simple slideshow---which may be what I will do very soon---knowing I can always replace them with the fuller version later). Anyway its all about BRINGING LOVE BACK HOME...Thank you for you and your kind words.....
