The "fat lady hasn't quite sung yet", unfortunately. And, I believe I saw breaking news on the Alien-Earth forum that the Feds have injected a *fourth cash transfusion* (really, really unprecedented) into our economic system. Weimar Republic, here we come!

Wasayo some respected economists have predicted that at the very least, two major banking operations are going to collapse. This money being pumped into the stock market to shore it up - so to speak- is coming from the banks. One should make sure that all their assets are not invested in only one bank. The FDIC only covers $100,000 of the loss. Spread it out. And then I am not confident of the FEDS coming through with the funds. This portends an ominous situation. The coffee can is looking better and better to me.

This is truely a situation that is going to culminate is something unlike anything we have ever seen.
