Underwater Anomalies ~ Weird.

For the past couple of days, I've been searching the globe with google earth looking for these underwater anomalies. I can't figure out what they are! At first I thought it was just the pixellation of the shots, but I've compared them to other lakes at the same elevation around the world, and I've only found these underwater cities high in the Peruvian mountains. (The Andes) I say underwater cities, because that is what they appear to be. If you have google earth you can see what I mean. Just go to Lake Titicaca and head northeast. Just start looking at each lake, zoom in ~ some have the grids and what appear to be roads and buildings, and some don't.

Any ideas on what it could be?
