Let me preface this by saying, I did not write this, however, I wish I had. I am not given to radicalism in any way, shape or form, but I was struck by one line in this "call to action." The author states, "History tells us that waiting for the changes to turn ugly first, and taking action later are not favorable." Things have already turned ugly and a huge, monsterously hideous, picture is beginning to emerge. Perhaps it's because I was successfully brainwashed by Nancy Reagan, but one little phrase keeps turning around in my head. Just say, "No!"

Here is some very important history.
Benito Mussolini created a "blueprint" many years ago, that would be used over and over through time to overthrow a free society. Since then, Adolf Hitler studied his plan, and followed it to the tee during the "Holocaust". Joseph Stalin had studied both Hitler and Mussolini, and used the exact tactics during the "Cold War". So what we know now is that in order to create a dictatorship from a free society... in order to overthrow the people of that culture... there are certain steps that work well. Historically they look like this;
1) To invoke fear internally by a threat or event.
2) To create a secret prison system that practices torture.
3) To create a "Para-Military" Force.
4) To create a societal surveillance plan or system.
5) Arbitrarily infiltrate citizens groups.
6) To target key individual (as examples)
7) To restrict and control the media and press.
8) To lodge a campaign of terrorism and espionage as being an internal threat to the nations sovereignty and safety.
9) Restrictions of "Civil Liberties" and "Arms"
10) Martial Law.
Lets take a closer look at theses steps...
A Governments or Leaders Blueprint
To dictatorship.
1) To invoke fear internally by a threat or event.
The events of 9-11 are evident.
2) To create a secret prison system that practices torture.
Abu Ghraib... And Fema has hundreds of Prison Camps built here in America.
3) To create a "Para-Military" Force.
"Blackwater" has received around a Billion Dollars in contracts, and there are plans to use them here in America. In fact, Blackwater patrolled in New Orleans during the flooding crises.
4) To create a societal surveillance plan or system.
We are watched closer as a nation than anytime in the past. The amount of surveillance is disturbing and alarming.

5) Arbitrarily infiltrate citizens groups.
Groups of citizens are targeted and questioned daily. Don't believe me, do the research. Myspace is a "social group" and we are being watched not only here, but "google searches" are also reported to government officials.
6) To target key individual (as examples)
Rosie O'Donell, the Dixie Chix, Peter Jennings, and Bill Maher, to name a few, have been the early examples of not agreeing verbally with the Governments plans. It will get worse.
7) To restrict and control the media and press.
Although the FCC has relaxed regulations on how much the government and Corporations with government interests can purchase media sources, the news is definitely being filtered by mainstream media sources. Never has there been such a stark contrast of information as there is now between insiders and informants, and the official stories the press are releasing.
8) To lodge a campaign of terrorism and espionage as being an internal threat to the nations sovereignty and safety.

9) Restrictions of "Civil Liberties" and "Arms"
Civil Liberties are severely altered as a result of the Patriot Act, which was drawn up prior to 9-11
10) Martial Law.
The news this week reported American Police going door to door to round up weapons. Congress is considering altering the 2nd amendment. If we ever actually restrict arms, that will be the last step before the descent begins. We are half a step away.

I do not suggest or support violence, I do support peaceful resolve and self defense. I also support free speech and education of our government. and I also support truth, and peaceful public and private gatherings to discuss it.
