I just got this in the mail from Philip Sedgwick, the founder of Galactic and Deep Space Astrology. This is from his free newsletter, "The Galactic Times", available from his website:

The Galactic Times

INFORMATION OVERLOAD ~ 06 Aug 2007

The other day I wrote down a note for a lecture and a funny little blip of astrological humor and this morning I can't make heads nor tails of it. I'm not sure if it's a function of my seriously poor penmanship which rivals the best prescription signature on Earth, or if it's a brain cramp. These last few days with Mars dilly dallying in Taurus have rendered my local climate rich in humidity without the relief of rain, and with our intense temperatures, feeding the cat seems like a major chore (she's not starving, mind you).

Of late, the news has been nearly too much to process. Baseball fans in particular feel this way; they've had two major milestones and almost a record to contend within the last several days. (As an aside note, new baseball blogs on Barry Bonds record-setting effort offers up interesting mundane astrological considerations. When his stuff quiets down, we'll look at a series of other milestones that personify success and breakthrough patterns).

Within twenty-four hours, Mars moves into Gemini, offering more information that one can shake a stick at and provoking so much curiosity that a sensible cat runs for cover. Now somewhere here, I wrote some notes... let's see. Nope that's the reminder to pick up laundry. Ah, here we go...

Also within the next day, Jupiter resumes prograde motion and his trek to meet up with both the informative and enlightening Galactic Center as well as the let's-make-something-out-of-the-broken-mold, Pluto. Truly, all sorts of ideas will begin flowing. Both Jupiter and Mars up until their conjunction on August 22nd, hook up with a plethora of black hole patterns in Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius.

Breaking News: This e-mail just in: An astronomical telegram is reporting that XMMU J054134.7-682550 in the Large Magellanic Cloud, located at 11 Aquarius 12, has been recently observed to be in outburst. This navigational spot in the heavens will soon be transited by Chiron's retrograde pass, thus soothing distracted paths and resetting organic directions if a person follows the lodestone guidance of soulful issues.

Back to regular GT coverage... Mars and Jupiter feel the strong background stimulation of ideas and insights from a collection of deep space sources. Ideas pop in like the phenomenal star burst patterns of flashbulbs going off following every swing by Barry Bonds or to archive the act of any athlete approaching a notable record. The natural impulse is to jot a note so the insight can be maintained. That's a great start, but according to the black hole patterns, does not delve deep enough. Hang with it longer. In fact, the minimum length of time would be 283 seconds.

"Why that interval?" asks Venus in inquisitive Virgo who works to squeeze in one more perfectly appropriate social activity setting text message before taking notes. Because the x-ray emanation, which allows for an insightful, all the way to the bare bones kind of look, from one of these black holes lasts that long. According to the Mars-Jupiter-Black Hole blitz between now and the 22nd, give yourself at least five minutes to set with any incoming ultra-cool idea and document it fully. Then, spread it around.

Let's say a person is writing a book on cooking and an idea about the use/remedy value of sage drops into their head. They'd document the concept, make copies of it and put the insight into every recipe/remedy folder that benefits from sage. That way, a person never has to hunt for the insightful morsel. Allowing this five minute window to open ideas fully will add volumes of data and flesh out ideas faster. Take longer to get there faster; there's an idea.

As the ideas pour in, why not hold back on any major proclamations of discovery for a while? There's a great chance as Mars comes up to oppose Pluto and the Galactic Center (third week of September) that another burst of insight - one that can impact the cellular nature - might be perceived. The insights due in this time frame can reset confused concepts, clear out clog and clutter and open the mind to unlimited receptivity. Might be worth the wait.

heh heh... Tautog, *any* day is the right day and the right time for me!

Oops, I think I maybe just "got what you meant... as to Philip's words, "hold back". I don't know the definition of "hold back" cuz I'm a real *my bad*! ⭐

I'll check more into the astrology of the third week in September and get back to you. There's a Lunar eclipse (Full Moon) on the 26th of September 2007 at 3 degrees Aries 20 minutes.

Over the years, for me (personally), I've always found September (the 9th month) to be "the" pivotal month for the whole year... and the time of the Fall (and Spring) Equinoxes always bears great impact and importance.

So, what were your thoughts when you wrote your comment? I'm interested, if you want to share! ☀
