Hello Mid, at the age of five my daughter was granted her Immigration status back in 1989. At the time, I felt that she should stay in the Philippines another four years to learn some of her culture, and then bring her over to the States. A year latter mount Pinatubo erupted and displaced her and her mom, we lost all contact until she was 21 years old and married, after age 18, she was required to apply again. Nicole was in a pop band that traveled all over Asia and found me when she was doing a gig for the US Armed Forces in Japan through the Freemasons, I am a Master Mason. Nicole's last Gig was at Diego Garcia, a US Base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I asked her to apply for a visa in Manila at the US Embassy, they gave her one and she came to my house in Ohio back in April. Her 6 months has expired the 27th of October, she had already reapplied for her citizenship and got a summons for her a myself to appear in Cincinnati with all documentation and two passport photo's on the 13th of November. She was pregnant when she came here and that was her surprise to us, now she is having this baby and it will be a citizen before she will. My wife took her in to the hospital Saturday evening and labor stopped, now we are just waiting any moment now for this baby to come out. The baby's father is active duty Air Force and is there for the birth. I will post when she has it.
