Awesome video, and a lesson showing there are no boundaries to love. A story of trust, affection and friendship. We are all related. All of us.
These two gentlemen raised a lion cub in London, England, who they named Christian, and sadly the authorities would not allow them to keep him, so they decided to release him to live as a free life in Kenya East Africa with conservationist George Adamson of Born Free fame. In this footage, a year has passed and Christian has adapted to living with a pride of lions when his old friends come back to visit him. They were told he would not recognize them after so much time. Watch closely and you can see the look of pure disbelief that dawns on Christian's muzzle- it's awesome, and will forever be etched in time. Next thing you know, there is a heart warming reunion. Not long after, members of Christian's pride approach and even they seem to accept Christian's human friends.

MID I don't know if you have been here, but there is a place outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, called "Turpentine Creek." It is a big cat refuge. They take in big cats (lion, tigers, leopards, etc...) that have been raised in captivity and abused, or big cats from zoos or circuses that have outlive their usefulness. Most have some kind of physical problem.
I have been several times. It is an awesome place. The people are so kind, and the animals are well adjusted and happy.
