One I have hanging onmy wall, To people who visit my house

1. the dog lives here, you don't.

2.I f you don't want dog hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

3. Yes, he has some disgusting habits, so do you and so do I. Whats your point?

4. OF COURSE he smells like a dog.

5. Its his nature to try to sniff your crotch. Please feel free to sniff his.

6. To you he's a dog. To me he's an adopted son who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly. I have no problem with any of these things.

7. Dogs are better than kids; they eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug using friends, don't drink or smoke, don't worry about fashion or what their friends think of them and don't need a gazillion dollars for college.

8. If they get pregnant you can sell the babies.

MID, thanks! A dog just like yours came and sat down next to LittleBear and me at our favorite coffee shop this morning. We had a good pow-bow-wow power breakfast and had your post for dessert! :lol!:

MID I love that. I worked with a girl one time that hated animals (she was vicious). She could never understand why I let my dog sleep with me, why I treated her like a human, why I always had dog hair all over me, and all the other good things that go with co-existing with our little darlings.

She told me that a dog should be kept chained outside. I was horrified at the thought. It actually makes me ill that someone would chain a dog.

She would spray the office with Lysol when the boss's wife left with her dog. I mean spray everything. It was bizarre. She told me dogs were nasty, dirty creatures. I thought the same of her. LOL

Wild Dove, I did think of that picture of Little Bear with the martini when I read the part about "they don't drink" some do, but at least they have to access to it first. As for that lady Spring, I feel sorry for her, she must have had a bad experience with dogs either in this lifetime or a previous one to feel so strongly. Mine drive me absolutely crazy sometimes, ,most of the time I can't take two steps without tripping over or stepping on one, they hog the bed, I literally have to fight for a spot in it at night, I can't go to the bathroom without an audience.........and I wouldn't have it any other way. Did I mention all the barking??? AAGGHHH!!!

Lucky me, huh? I just spent 30 minutes looking for and plugging up spots where 2 of my dogs were getting out this morning. Brats!

oh yeah, I was woken up at 3:00 a.m. this morning by Precious' barking, at what, I haven't a clue.

Ha Ha Mid. They keep you young.

Cayenne went crazy in the drive through car wash yesterday. When that car wash monster thing started going around the truck and spraying water she started frothing at the mouth and throwing her entire weight against the windows, barking like a lunatic. The truck was rocking back and forth and I couldn't get her to stop. She was jumping from the back to the front, and trying to climb on the dash. I had to duck to keep her from jumping on my head.

When we finally got out of there we had a crowd standing around watching and laughing.

OMG!! That must have been fun!! NOT! Poor thing. both of you. So, when are you taking her through the car wash again? Anytime soon?

Mid we have decided that Cayenne does not go to the car wash ever again. The monster in there just sets her off too much. We will stick with Wendy's and walking.
