From Angels

This Beauty, This Play, I call "Today"

Dear Today, I feel blessed. I am filled with joy just having you around.
Thank you so very much.
After a cold blistery week of moaning and groaning
I wished I could just fold back the sheets
Curl up and go to sleep.

Then the sun came out and touched my cheek
Warmed my limbs, brushed my sleeve
Like leaves born on a gentle breeze The Sun was glad to be at home with me.
The Sun-god drifted across the park where two little dogs, Little Bear & Bear
Accompanied me on their morning walk, barking with glee.
Proud chests swelling
Happy hearts in peaceful dwellings wrestling playfully with each other in jest.

I watched The Sun rise , a relevant movement in itself
Deft and alert, yet silent and soft, a sacred scent in the air
Even the expression on the two dogs faces showed me they cared
As they stopped what they were doing and watched The Sun's slow rise in silence too.
It gave me a new appreciation for Mother Nature's hidden views.

Modern human tongues balk when asked to stop wagging their tongues and listen to The Sun's Song.

I was reminded of White Eagle's instructions on how to meditate this morning
When I got back
To turn to that rare book he channeled to Grace Cooke,
"Gentle Brother".
He so often spoke of "at-one-ment"
Which I was certainly feeling as I watched the sun rise.
When I got home, I simply opened up the book spontaneously and took a good look.
Here's what I turned to and what my finger landed on:

As I put them in parenthesis

This is natural law
With God, all things are possible....
The flesh may be weak....
(Yet) the Spirit waxes strong....
(Strengthening) the body filled with light....
In the words of The Master:
I and The Father are one....(there's no fighting going on there)

Cultivate the habit of drawing upon the divine Eternal Presence
(Inside one's heart)....
The Power to change the very atoms of your body....
Physical atoms (of pain?)
Are spiritual atoms (droplets of spiritual rain?)...
Tiny sparks of light...
Behind all visible form(s)....
Under the command of The Great White Light..."
" Tiny sparks of light behind all visible form (are) under the command of
The Great White Light (can be changed at will)."

"The purpose of incarnation is for you to bring into your daily life
The Radiance of your Spiritual Life....
Seek the true Source of your being and you will triumpth over the darkness
(Of the darkest, coldest night)."

Wow! What a fitting celebration of appeciation for the morning sunrise
I just experienced.
Thank you, White Eagle, as well as The Sacred Brotherhood.
I knew their presence was a part of my Little Bear and Bear's example of paying Attention to the hidden choir's music
Behind the beating of Grandfather Sun's great heart.

Then My Beloved Thoth's voice tingled inside me:
"Open Rudhyar's book on the cycles of transformation spontaneously, too," he said, "and then read phase 48. Write your paraphasings here in this poem. They're (there) for all Of you (to use) anyway you choose to."

Here then are those words to jumpstart your day:

"On the merry-go-round of Life...
...Riding...the ups and downs..
The children on horses
Are given a chance to
Get a handle on the golden ring
As he or she turns slowly 'round and 'round."

"Spiritual grounds sprouting opportunity
Grabbing on to greater forces
Say The Disciples on The Path."
"We are like children on horses taking spirit-directed courses,
Wives of The Sultan,
All caught up in the same game we play,
Sometimes seeking his favors, sometimes wanting to be first in line."
"The best of the harem
In contrast to just sitting behind the scene
Acting out our screen debut
Trying to control the strings
Actors grabbed from children on old merry-go-rounds
We speak of each Spring."

"But who's in control on earth if everyone's harem walks the same palace grounds?"
"Is it a rise in position or favor, or consciousness we should be seeking from
The Sultan mound?"
"We chose to be the actors in The Play."
"Do we really want to dance The Prima Donnas' Round?"
"How about being the audience sitting in the front or in the back,
Hoping to capture the glow, the accolades, and the enthusiasm of the famed
(And sometimes defamed) actors as they Expound with glee
Or the quiet acceptance of the stunt men and woman just happy with their meager fee."

A famous writer once told me, Believe me, You don't really want to be famous...
All the pain , the responsibility, the meeting of so many demands upon your work
Always having to better your last Performance
It will jerk you around the mechanics andthe dynamics of The Original Play,
Faster than you think,
Leveling many a stage or a good portion of The Carousel itself to the ground.

Now we are The Sacred Human Actors, Yet we need be teachers and
The Teachers are reaching out to us
They are The Teaching Children's Children, but their lessons are much different now.
If only we knew what we intended to capture in the first place.
Were we trying to win awards? Win The Race? Or just passing Go.
Maybe just reaching Park Place.
How about staying where we're at, just dancing?
Prancing with our libidos, like horses in the sunlight
Touting poles and parasols for protection and comfort?
Hmm....that doesn't seem to be written in the instructions.
Of course, it all depends on which parasol or pole
On The Carousel of Life
You think is important enough,
Worth hanging on to,
Death, Birth, or somewhere in between.
