Puppet Dancing: Two different strings

Sometimes I feel like a puppet dancing on two different strings. One makes me jump for joy, the other puts me in a slump. Sometimes watching the Jim Lehrer Hour, Foreign Exchange, etc., PBS, I get so depressed I swear I will not watch TV anymore. (I don't have cable).

Sometimes I watch by accident Bill Moyers or Nova for example or Independant News and I'm back up dancing for joy.
Here's my point:

Even if, let's say (rounding off human population to 7 billion people), if in the last thirty years 10 million people have killed, tortured, maimed, etc. each other and are still doing it, and there are another 10 million humans copying them, there are still 6 billion, 980 million WHO AREN'T DOING THAT TO EACH OTHER!!!! Need I say anything more about which string you intend to dance upon........
