In a school in Akron is where this has been initiated...

At Lunch time, the Children run their fingerprint over a scanner for their lunch ...rather than having a pin # to utilize... it recognizes an Individuals fingerprint !!!

Wow what next ... many concerns reguarding Identity theift, misuse of our childrens finger prints I need not go on any further about the Implications of this if it is implemented into the schools Nation wide .....
To fingerprint or Not to Fingerprint ?? What does the Nest's Forum think?

I find that highly disturbing, ITL. Highly.

Here in Oklahoma they have instituted a new system that is similar ~ any person entering the school has submit to a fingerprint scan, and it automatically does a background check on that person. The door won't open unless they pass. It's only in a few schools right now, but I can see it becoming more and more prevelant.
