| I am feeling that even though we are in a not so good economy, we still should put humanity first as we have become a self interest society. We need to look at one another as brothers and sisters instead of distant neighbors. This is the time to come together so we can all help one another through these times. There is strenght in numbers and you can acheive many things together than trying to go it alone. Many predict of terible things to come, Always believe that ther are two paths in which we take and not dwell on the negative, but be inspired on the positive and take each day as it comes. Along your path, do not forget to help those that are truely in need if you have the means to do so. | |

| Absolutely! Both of your posts. Built-up with hope, positive feelings, strength, power.... I often say both in serious conversation as well as humorous moments that my new age aquarian dictionary's author isn't Webster. It was composed and comprised by a man named Me :bump: It has only one page in it, and most of it is blank. There's one word we haven't yet defined, nor can we ever define it, put it in stone, encase it in any form whatsoever. The only word in the new age dictionary is CHANGE! It has no description after it either (cause it has already occurred, made changes while the word was being read! :coffee4: | |

| Here's to change. May we harness today's hopeful sentiments and put them into action. May the positive rhetoric, which tickles our ears, translate into meaningful transformation. Even in the smallest of ways, even in an unnoticed gesture, even in the quiet of our hearts. | |

Ditto.ditto.ditto, nixfan! I used to think small, little me, insignificant (because its small) has taken on new meaning. Change may be slow (because of previous stubborn thought) but like small, words like slow, too fast) also needs to be revised. In fact all those words (if accompanied by feelings of doubt or disbelief) will soon be replaced with adjectives (including adverbs like "soon, or later") of hope, such as words meaning moving forward also will be moving in a direction I believe IS the way we all want to move: FORWARD ONWARD. If it takes a "leader" like Obama to affect the change, more power to him, people like you and people here at the nest. Change really IS the only word in my dictionary. I wasn't being facetious in my recent post above. Good to hear from you!

| The Little Webs We Weave
After a long night's success with my web pages I decided to go visit Beaver, Builder of Dreams To thank him for service in a good way By all means. I hadn't walked this path for quite a long time Down to the pond by the lake Through the swamp grasses Up to my neck, up to my ass in mosquito-thronged prime. But this time I came prepared: All dolled up all over my skin A modern-day Woodsman's A-1 primary lube: An Enn dash di_meta methyl_toll-oo-ah-mide tube (N-di_meta-methyll_toluamide insect repellant) A ride into chemical hell for sure But better than nothing at all for my hide! Now about those brambles, about those nettles and burrs.... Never mind!
I was going at a good clip with Little Bear as usual, Hoping Beaver was there. I kept wiping cobwebs out of my hair. Oops! Spider's been busy. I stopped and halted and thought. I don't NEED to do this. In the early morning stillness Beaver could silently hear my thankful prayer. And Spider, who works night and day just to repair Her web and tear from four-legged intruders she encounters all the time. She didn't need more work, that's for sure. So I decided to turn back Give her a rest, a snooze, a nap. Besides, I've got a lot on my plate. Back burner, too. In fact all four of them, My dream, My Spirit, My pet, My metaphysical scheme My laptop computerized thing.
Then I looked down at my feet. There was Slug and Snail, I nearly had stepped on them They made no squeak. A tiny slurp or a suck maybe from Slug Wow! Crow was right. About the significance of All-life Divine Delightful to have kept everything the was it was, by being more careful this time. Ah! The Webs we weave, The veils we hide, The invisible threads That ensnare, enslave or enable us That cut us off at the pass Or cause us to pause and walk around other's intentions. On a well-traveled path or the one less-traveled,
What matters most, Is that Everyone matters What they are presently doing, And whatever they've done or not.
Aho, Little Insects, your imput is large Your reminders are significant to us humans Who so often, simply barge through other's affairs. We bumble, we stumble, but we pick ourselves up. We're quite a motley crew, But we all reach our destinations in the end. Its nice to know, however, When we've allowed others to continue anew In the early summer morning dew In the early morning breeze, As I walked back home, I could hear Spider and Snail say thank you, if you please. No rider racing madly down the path Looking for his horse. No two-legged or four-legged right-on the old course. We all got a well-deseved break down by the lake!
Thanking Beaver, Spider and Snail in silence, "Thank you. You have pleased us very much". Have yourself another lovely day! Ah, Yes! I certainly will. I will take a break from my work A two-legged must have been racing madly down someone else's path l Willing to change his tune. This ol' two-legged was just a little bit slower Finally on the right course. Finally slowing down to a normal paced walk Paying attention to the little details of Spider, Snail talk. Being in tune with the Small Forces of Nature Not just the grandiose ones But perhaps in a more formal way On this beautiful Monday in June Here's another toast to All My Relations: You're The Most! Little People by The Pond. I love you!
p.s. Now about those mosquitoes.........I am not THAT fond of you guys. Perhaps we too can have a talk sometime And make our peace with each other As I have with Spider and Snail. They did, why can't you? We'll see, said Mosquito, We'll see. But not today, not yet he cried As he bit me through the pants on the thigh, as he bit me on the ankle Through the socks I just dried. (They're obviously wet by now from the heavy morning dew) Oh well, one thing at a time, all in due time. I sure hope our conversation comes soon, however, Summer sun and moon Here in The Northwest, Is over before you know it. Mosquito, I said, as I scratched my thigh, Move over bud, Move over to the other side of the swamp real soon! Don't ask me why, just do it! Aho!

| Wild dove, I had to say these words to my 25 year old daughter early this morning, she contacted me from the Philippines saying that the first floor of her apartment was full of mud and water from the tropical storm that had hit. They were some of the lucky one's, they had a secont floor in their apartment to find refuge in. They had only been able to eat bread for the past three days and prayed for the rain to stop. I reminded her to be compassionate towards others that were not as fortunate as her family and help one another out as much as possible and to keep a positive attitude, life will go on. | |
