Everything she said, I confirm it. I knew of this "lightship" since 1977. I was picked up by a beam of light while living in Berkeley.Several days later, my friend William told me a preview of a sci-fi film was happening in Oakland. Did I want to see it? I said yes, and the rest is history. I literally was working on one of my images of a huge rock and something" or "someone" took hold of my hand and I began scribbling, making a whole "field of light" around it and so on. The movie, of course was "Close Encounters". I had to be carried out of the theater. The rock, even Dreyfus himself, the music, the ant/ghost-like beings were EXACTLY what I had seen the night before. I have witnesses to confirm all this, and to top it off, when we all went back home, lying on the floor was a book of Table Mountain open AND a book of Black Elk's teachings/prophecies. The house was locked.......so yes, I DO know about that "LightSHIP".......

Black Elk's teachings/prophecies? What are they?

LC, Black Elk was an Ogala holy man chief, along with Sitting Bull and others wrote (and spoke) about prophecies concerning parts of the US disappearing, of the "ghost elders" returning after White Buffalo Calf Woman reappears (a female spirit named after an actual buffalo who gave birth to a calf that changed from black to red, to yellow and white and gave them the instructions for rebuilding the Great White Medicine lodge, and the chanupa (pipe) used to this very day. THAT BUFFALO DID REAPPEAR ON A FARM IN WISCONSIN IN 1993 AND PRODUCED JUST SUCH A CALF WHO IS STILL ALIVE AND ALSO HAS A DAUGHTER KNPWN AS WHITE BUFFALO CALF WOMAN.

The book (or perhaps a portion of another book) is called "Black Elk Speaks". I do not know the exact portion that was on the floor (too many years since the incident occurred) but I am sure you can find it.

Two other books (White Eagle Medicine Wheel by Wa-Na-Nee-Che with its forward by Frank Black Eagle (Black Eagle's grandson) published in 1996 and Timelines of Native American History by Susan Hazen-Hammond) should help.
