| MID, you took the words right out of my mouth..."I'm melting, I'm melting..." My goodness, it is beyond hot out there. I've lived thru hot before, but there is something extremely oppressive about this heat. It is like hitting a wall of hot, everytime I walk outside. I don't know why this map says, 94 in OKC, but I promise it's at least 100 out there and there is no relief in sight. On the local news today, they said it will be in the 100's at least until the end of next week, 103 by next Wednesday, and that is just the actual temp, not the heat index. I'm going to go find that link about the coolers you can make out of pots and sand.

| It is supposed to be 102 here today. I am with you guys. I am melting. I tried to cut the grass yesterday and I spent more time inside - drinking ice tea -looking out of the window at the lawnmower than I actually did on the lawnmower. The neighbors must have thought that "that crazy woman in the neighborhood has finally gone over the edge." | |

| lol, but that's what I do inside too. I stare at the vacuum cleaner, the broom, the dishes, the laundry.
I try and twitch my nose, but nothing happens.
What's up with that? lol |

| ROFLMAO...Well, I can make the refrigerator door close without touching it.
not much help there....lol....maybe if I'd spend less time opening the fridge door and trying to close it with my mind, I'd get more stuff done! LOL! |

| I mowed a little earlier in the week. After all the flooding in June I finally was able to get someone out to mow the grass with a riding mower. (I have an acre & a push mower. I did half of it with the push mower. It was just over knee high) anyway, he got it knocked down to where I could mow it but, I had to rake all the cut grass up before I could go over it with my mower. Needless to say , there is still a portion left undone. I figure it ain't going anywhere. BTM are you in OKC? I grew up in Del City. I live in southwest Mo. right by Okla., Ark. and Kansas. Hasn't this been an awesome weather year for us? NOT! BTW I liked the picture of your white dog. I have 9 dogs and 4 cats. | |

| Spring, don't forget that you have to put EMOTION into as well, and stay positive! I know what you mean. I can't seem to get anything done either. On the news last night the weatherman gave the hottest week on record for here. It was in 1954 2 or 3 days of 115 and the rest of the week it was 109. I feel for them. i wasn't born yet but I don't think there was a lot of places with A/C back then.i It must have been awful for them. May I ask what state you live in Spring? | |

| Master I believe you are correct. It is the heat. I absolutely cannot get one thing accomplished. I live in Texas and I am telling you it is hot. It was 102 this afternoon without the heat factor. The weatherman said with the heat factor it will be around 112 tomorrow.

| Hey Spring, I used to live in Texas, Corpus Christi. I know how hot it gets there. I used to have a hard time driving because the steering wheel would be so hot I couldn't stand to touch it. | |

| You guys are so funny! I love it! But seriously, I feel for you guys. I couldn't even imaging living where the temps are above 100 degrees!! I live in the state of Maine. We have our spurts of hot weather, but nothing compared to what you guys are going through! To be quite honest I am glad I live in Maine, I could not stand to live where it is so hot that you couldn't go outside and enjoy yourself. I've actually thought about looking for a place to live that has low temps and humidity, still searching! lol. Keep COOL guys! | |

| Master it is HOT here. Yesterday when I would take a breath my lungs felt like they were burning.
I have a great idea. Since Puschar is in Maine, and it seems to be pretty cool there, lets load up the food and dogs and have the party there. How about it Puschar, can we head that way?

Master I find the cold invigorating. It makes you feel alive, unlike the heat which makes you feel like you are dying.
Speaking of the heat, if this keeps up we are going to see a major fire event. I hope not, but that came to me clear as a bell.
