| Subject: CELINA's HAVEN FOR PEACE Wed Feb 06, 2008 5:19 pm | |
| My dear lady friend Celina sent me this poem a few months ago. I think its appropriate for this forum in sharing things we are communicating to each other: Haven by Celina
At home, I sit At the side of the stream In the moment of dawn, Secret slot of no time Where creatures move in amnesty
And I am one of them Singing my song to the spring Answered by myriad melodies Of birds a breath away Sipping from enchanted channel Cool, clear crystal liquid
Pine marten moves in quiet time He sees, I see, our eyes meet In silent salutation Respectful of each others rights Recognised as brothers Our discreet benevolence.
Melted within the magna Is my soul In rhythmic patterns of lichen Rock Each one God, looking, listening To each wish whispered in the quiet Each cry over the peaks Of the circling eagles
Bats begin to hover To eaves above my berth Sleepy frogs salute the sun After their carousal We say good night, Good morning, anew To the pulse of time | |
