I just want to wish everyone a safe, happy, joyful, peaceful, healthy, abundant and prosperous new year. Also one WITHOUT any "natural disasters" Karen's last post (www.whatsuponplanetearth) says 2008 is supposed to be MUCH better. She's always been right in the past lets hope she still is. Love to all

Happy New Year! Yea for 2008. This morning we awoke to the sound of geese...Twohawks tells me that is a good omen, it means an abundant year!

While looking up goose medicine, I happened across this verse...

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee.
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee;
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee."
Job 12: 7-8

PostSubject: Re: Happy New Year   Happy New Year EmptyTue Jan 01, 2008 12:58 pm

As we ushered in the New Year last night, the number on the calendar switched from 7 to 8. This is not a mere changing of a digit but is an event which creates unlimited possibilities and opportunities. Why is this phenomena especially strong on this year? Our sages teach us that the number 7 is the definition of the natural Divine order of things. The world was created in 7 days. We have a 7 day week and so on., The number eight – 8 – represents going beyond the natural boundaries. It represents going beyond our natural - or more likely, going beyond our perceived limitations. Turn “8” on its side and what do you get. The symbol for infinity:

Happy New Year Infini10

So on a practical level, what does this mean to you? The greatest challenge we all have is to get out of our own way. Quoting a line from the Declaration of Independence: “We are all endowed by our Creator with Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” But we are also endowed with tremendous talents and abilities to help make the world a better place. We all have an abundance of gifts that remain dormant in our lives. Now is the time to wake these concealed talents up. Look at your life. What talents do you have that aren’t being used? Start using them. What gifts have you been given that you have hidden deep inside of you. It’s time that they be revealed. The number “8” shows us that we have unlimited and endless possibilities in this world – and that we have to break through our own self imposed ceilings to get there.

May 2008 bring you all tremendous breakthroughs in your lives.

Oh LittleFire I hope you are not too snowed in. I know it is very cold there so please be careful.

:cold2:

I wish you the very best New Year, and I will say prayers for you and Red Feather to be together this year.

With Blessings and Love

Awww Spring thanks for the scarf, I needed that! It was interesting driving in yesterday morning to work, end up in the ditch as my road was not plowed. Thankfully all is fine, and just 5 minutes after being in the ditch, I could not open my car door as the snow was piled high, a snowplow stopped and pulled me out within 3 minutes! Woohoo! and off to work I went.

And then, this morning, woke up to bitterly cold, -13 F this morning! But, the strange part, next week the temperature will be going up to 50 F! go figure! It can melt some of that snow as the snowbanks are so high that we can't see if cars are coming when we creep into a street EEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!

Thanks for keeping Redfeather and I in your prayers, I really hope this is the year he moves here to be with me.

Always,
LittleFire

Oh my goodness LittleFire. That is absolutely terrifying, but the Spirit was with you. I am so relieved you are ok. You are a trooper. I have to tell you that. I would have probably turned around and went right back home. Never mind work!

You take care and tell Red Feather we are going to do a power prayer pray and call on the Spirit to put it into his heart to move this year. It is time. I wish you both the best LittleFire.

Blessings, Spring

Still praying LittleFire. Keep warm, and I hope the melting snow doesn't cause even more difficulties for you and those in your area.

I'm sure a heat wave isn't that bad.

Unless it's like a wave of fire, in that case it shouldn't be too difficult to handle, sure you may smell of roasted flesh and you're body is basicly made up of burns but you have to get over these symptoms and try to live life to the best of your ability.
