| This just came in through a closed window (thought I had closed it :king: Are you young and beautiful? Are you old and wise Are you strong, vibrant and alive? Do you lie though your eyes of blue Speak the why and the why not (of your truth) Are you in love and love to be loved Are you weak in the knees But have a stronng heart? Are you none or all of the above? If you believe strongly enough in yourself And vow to always remain open for suggestion. You probably are! | |

| There’s a quiet spot in the depths of my being where God in silence dwells, The holy, infinite presence of God, where awareness slowly wells. Away from the noisy outer world, enclosed where it’s calm and still, Breathing in deep tranquility, as mind and spirit fill. It’s a silence that speaks without words, and doesn’t sound to the ear, But listening to it with my heart, can soothe every doubt and fear. The unconditional love I feel makes each anxiety cease, As the overwhelming essence of God floods my soul with the sweetest peace.

| As fears are drown in the millions. Hope rises like a phoenix from ash. From the tears cried by the trillions. Life has changed in one brilliant flash.
Those who cry in the dark. Will soon sing in the light. For them sorrows tainted mark. Will leave them in a joyous rite.
A ritual of severance. As they find their hearts song. Several moments in silent reverence. For soon they can do nothing wrong.
As fears are drown in the millions. Hope rises like a phoenix from ash. From the tears cried by the trillions. Life has changed in one brilliant flash.
The light soon shines from within. Escaping from the body in radiance. Leaving behind a life of sin. Just to learn that secret cadence.
The next thing seen is a blast of light. Another soul set on its way. It lights the night. Streaking across the sky as bright as day.
As fears are drown in the millions. Hope rises like a phoenix from ash. From the tears cried by the trillions. Life has changed in one brilliant flash.
The day of the culling comes soon. Calling to all listening. For those who can hear the tune. Bodies begin to sparkle with light, glistening.
When the melody forms a harmony. They symphony of light can be heard. By one and all, freeing most from agony. The lambs soon get to flock to the rest of the herd.
As fears are drown in the millions. Hope rises like a phoenix from ash. From the tears cried by the trillions. Life has changed in one brilliant flash.

| Yes I am all of those things and more.
There is a person among you. This person can be great and amazing. This person goes to the loo. And he is frequently grazing
on the field of grass like a tiger in the Antarctic But it's made out of glass And is a lion fanatic.
Yes! This person is you Hello there How do you do? Are you a hare?

| A plateful of words, by A. Nutty Poeter
A Plateful of Words How many do you want? Three will do. Close your eyes. give me the first three that come to mind
Purple blue fine.
Ok, use 'em now:
The purple skies of Vincent blue The Melody so true Comes to me so fine.
Those, Starry, starry night(s). Paint your palette blue and grey, Look out on a summer's day, With eyes that know the darkness in my soul. Shadows on the hills, Sketch the trees and the daffodils, Catch the breeze and the winter chills, In colors on the snowy linen land.
Now I understand what you tried to say to me, How you suffered for your sanity, How you tried to set them free. They would not listen, they did not know how. Perhaps they'll listen now
See? A Plateful word of three Came out spledidly!
Try it again.
for, my, god
For My God
My counry, my people, my destiny I see Sweet land of liberty to be The divine soul I was created to be
But 'cha y'ar Blanche, But 'cha are! (Bette Davis to Olivia de Havilland in Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte).
WOW, Thank you for the plateful of words, Great Mystery!
Better than a bunch of trytophan and old sandwiches of Turkey Still hanging about in my frig like a Science project disaster :coffee4: which I guess I'll get off my laptop and sink into. ('Course that could also put me to sleep LIAM. Great sport, sleeping..... Later!

| Some more poetry to ponder, by Wild Dove (Willy TwoHawk Speaking for White Eagle) An Expression of Timeliness I will always be a Seeker of Wisdom, a Hunter of Invisible Game. I too have become a Dreamer of Visions No mountains to climb, no mines to stake my claim. Reams and reams of other's schemes about letting it all go Mean little to me right now Responsibility does, however. No Calipers or Pens needed for that! To encompass or to measure my anything That kind of measurement reduces sensibility to mere angles of dust. I have a Lust for Life Like Vincent's eyes of violent blue, I am smothered in An Inner Expression of Purple Joy others call tears An Expression of myself and Of Life itself From no one else's point of view. A simple painter struggling in a world Of artsy and fartsy critics, of dainty impressionistic people, pretty colored picture pots Superficial techno meaning glots Attributed to those leaning towards oblivion Forgotten in history's time warp slots. Some of us don't care whether our work gets shown in public or not Thanks to all the Theo's of course Who tried so hard to help us survive the onslaught, said to mount The kingly thrones of The Unknown The ones others were never shown. But there are rulers without rules In a world ruled by dolts Trying to measure Infinity as though Pleasure sits there all by itself while Wisdom was set aside Waiting to be measured. It's not! Wisdom jumps up and down all the time, bolts through The Veils when caught at play As though the rule and the ruler were in its way Inner play somewhere between the ploy and the plot Its what the painter's really got in the pot that can raise the knots On the back of pinheads, But it doesn't half the time. Its what the writer pulls from the ink well. Oh well, who cares! Choose a different color, use another tool, pick some other words, Artist and Draftsman that you are The Geometry of The Divine is unmeasurable anyway The Canvas always has room for another star to emerge between the lines Aho! | |

| Simply beautiful, Wild Dove. Your poems speak to my heart, especially that one. For my birthday I was gifted with an easel, two blank canvases, and a magnificent array of mediums with which to create something. I've never really painted before but Twohawks seems to think I should. lol |

| You should, BTM. I even take my jpegs created sometimes from scratch, sometimes from my own photos. I put the pic up where most people put a composition and start playing. What comes out knocks my own socks off. I believe The Gift, whether it is in writing, music, dance or visual art/sculpture is an on-going stream of beauty we (people who chose to write/paint/etc) connect to a bit deeper than others, that's all. No one is the creator of anything. But we all are co-creators, each in his or her own way...... | |

| I wish! lol....Oddly enough, my ex came by last night and told me he had bought a reproduction of Vincent van Gogh's painting, "Starry Night." It was just a little sync with Wild Dove's postings, so I thought I would put a picture of it here. |

| A GOOSE IS A BIRD SO ARE LOONS. I AM A POET BUT THERE ARE MANY SITTING IN THE SAME ROOM CALLED BY A DIFFERENT NAME. HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OR TWO:
I AM THE KNOT ON A SHELF MADE OF PINE I AM THE GRAIN ON A SHAFT OF WHEAT BUT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
I AM THE FLOWER IN THE VASE BUT I AM NOT THE ONLY BOOK IN THE CASE OR THE ONLY WORD IN A LINE.
THERE ARE SOUND BITES THERE ARE PHRASES THERE ARE FACES IN EVERY CROWD EVERYONE HAS EYES.
EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT EACH ONE CRIES. TEARS FALL DOWN THE FACE OF A CLOWN.
EYELIDS RISE, EARS OPEN UP SOME CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO. A HEART CANNOT CLOSE A MIND BUT A CLOSED MIND CAN STOP A BEATING HEART.
A BREATHING CHEST HEAVY WITH DOUBT CAN NEUTRALIZE BOTH THE POWER AND THE CLOUT PUT THE ENTIRE FIRE OUT THOUGH A FLAME REMAINS IN THE EMBERS.
MEMBERS OF A DEAD POET'S SOCIETY KNOW THIS. ALL THAT IS ASKED OF THEM IS THAT THE POETRY IS READ BY THE DEVOUT. A LISTENER WHO COMES WITH AN OPEN MIND.
A PERSON WHO ENTERS THE ROOM AND ADDS A LINE OR TWO. DOES NOT SINGLE OUT THAT WHICH HE NOR SHE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND
BUT LETS IT LIE WHEREVER IT LANDS.
AHO! | |
