PostSubject: Interesting Day 8-6-07   Mon Aug 06, 2007 7:09 am

Daily Cosmic Calendar
Provided by Astrology.com
By Mark Lerner

This is one of the more powerful and unusual days of 2007. A rare and flowing trine of 120 degrees occurs between Saturn in Leo and Pluto in Sagittarius (3:20AM PDT). These two heavy-duty, serious and no-nonsense celestial bodies almost made the same pattern in late 2006 and they will almost make the trine aspect again in the spring of 2008, but will fall just short. Therefore, while 'normally' there would be three of these alignments, we only have one. With enough focus, responsibility and true grit, you can reap huge rewards (eventually!) in almost any field of expertise. A Juno-Neptune trine in air signs (8:25AM PDT) raises your levels of hope even further -- plus this combination can be a boost in romance and in terms of fashion, style and beauty. The cosmos appears to be in an upbeat and success-oriented mood, but Jupiter shifts from retrograde to direct this evening (7:06PM PDT) at 10 degrees of Sagittarius. The largest planet in the solar system is therefore virtually stationary today and over the next few days. All Jupiter themes - expansion of consciousness, the power of positive thinking, providence, good fortune, opportunity knocking, Big Business, athletics, long-distance travel, higher education, publishing, enthusiasm and euphoria, speculation and gambling, overdoing a good thing, pride and arrogance - are emphasized. [Note: Jupiter stays in direct motion until May 9, 2008 when it will turn retrograde again at 23 degrees of Capricorn.] While the presence of Jupiter should be an asset, please be careful about going overboard in any direction. This is magnified by tonight's monthly Moon-Mars union in Taurus (6:51PM) -- an abrasive and tension-building conjunction that also starts a short void lunar cycle lasting until 7:02PM PDT and the arrival of Gemini Moon. Mars enters Gemini, too, at 11:02PM PDT -- a cycle lasting until September 28, 2007. Meanwhile, you also need to be on guard -- emotionally and psychologically -- as the Sun makes a disturbing contra-parallel to Pluto (10:35PM PDT). Add on a Mars-Uranus mentally stimulating 72-degree link (9:15PM PDT) and a Mercury-Vesta trine in fire signs (9:33PM PDT) and you have all the makings of an historic day.
