Taste the fruits of Your labor. Are they ripe and ready to pick? How can I do that without bruising them? I asked my guide.

"BY ASKING YOURSELF if they are ready," said my guide. "Forming the right questions and trusting Your own answers is what the "tasting" is all about. You will know when to pick them and how to set them aside for use later on when the "pickins" are thin. This is the meaning of Preservation.

Honoring them in a prayer of thanksgiving before You eat them is called Wisdom.

Sharing them with everyone sitting at Your Table is called Understanding.

Going out into the cold and giving them to someone without anything to eat is called Love.
