This is great for all your garden needs, not only is it better for plants but you in the end. My parents own a tree service im going to see if the worms can eat some of the more broken down mulch. I also think that worms can become tougher with each generation. Say I breed a colony that has learned to eat harder food. I think I can do this by mixing a compound of things that speed up their growth. Like caffine and amino acids I can check the rate they take this mix in by adding green food coloring to the mix. They should in time turn green or what ever color I pick. That alone makes them better fishing bait at least. Opps derailed... Where was I? Oh yes! If they can eat hard woods that have been freshly chipped then this cuts down on the waste from the tree industry. Their castings makes very fertile virgin dirt pretty much! Which can be used to grow more trees/plants as well as their worm tea. Which is a goo they make its super concentrated and very fertile stuff.

I have been tinkering with ways to create peptides from amino acids. Now I think I have a system at hand that will work. You see acids (real acids like stomach acids) combine amino acids into peptides they form chains/bonds of two or more amino acids. Well, I will be feeding a colony of worms every amino acid essential and non essential (like the stuff our brains use.) Their acids from their stomach will make the chains that they need and they discard the rest in their castings. The bacteria in the castings will make the chains they need and discard the rest in the runoff or "worm tea" then I plant a fruit tree in the castings and water it with the worm tea. It will make its chains it needs and filter the rest into its fruit, which will be a citrus, inside the fruit the acids within will further refine the brain juice peptide compound thingamadoo. If it works it will be damn nice. Of course I made this all up that may not be how it works at all. :( lets see though! :) I have tried refining amino acids with plants and bacteria and even animals (me, one frog (didn't eat the frog or anything from it (oh and a few shrimp)) but never a complex system such as this. See the peptides change hands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 five times... worm, bacteria, plant, plants fruit, human! Nothing may happen at all... Never know with out trying. Really the bacteria had the best results I drank that kumbucha tea for a long time or my version I called yung... Until! The smell from the brewing became more then I could stand. I dumped that smelly tea out! My room smelled like it was sprayed with sour tea.
