We haven't set a date or anything yet...lol...but we did pick a song. We just stumbled across it the other day and it says everything we both feel and want to express. So, what do you think?

I think your wedding song is very appropriate! This is what we played at our wedding (during the ceremony in front of a waterfall):

How could we forget you, Spring? No way! I don't want to get married in the fall or the winter, I just love springtime, so it'll probably be next spring.
I love that Van Halen song. I saw them live back in the day, got to sit on the sound stage for the concert and be backstage at the pre and post parties. We stayed on the same floor as the band in Little Rock. I remember I borrowed Jhodi's black oversized eighties jacket for the concert, it had tiny pink polkadots on it ~ I wore it with my black strech pants and black ankle boots! Hahahaha! I have long-term fashion memory, apparently! Anyway, I remember at the post-concert party, one of the Van Halen guys came up to me and said, "I want a jacket just like that when I grow up." It wasn't Eddie though and it wasn't Sammy, I just don't remember which one it was. Obviously, the outfit was far more important! LOL I will forever be grateful to Miss Jhodi for the lending of the jacket.

Van Halen is soul mate's favorite band. He loves them. Has every single CD.
Your song will stay with you for the rest of your lives BTM!
I know every time we hear our song we stop whatever we are doing and kiss Just can't help it - even if we are mad at each other. LOL
Of course soul mate never ceases to remind me that I drank too much wine on our wedding night and fell asleep in the bathtub. Too much happiness all the way around! HA HA HA HA :dark:

All are great BTM. Since I used to play the piano (and sometimes sing with it) professionally for weddings, the most touching was my sister Mary Ellen at her wedding. She had a magnificent self-taught medium to high soprano voice. She wanted me to play Bette Midler's rendition of 'You are the Wind Beneath My Wings" and Joe Cocker's "You are so Beautiful (To Me) for her wedding. How she managed to sing them standing with Dad at the end of the aisle looking at her husband-to-be without a quivver in her voice still amazes me........
